These are real questions from real customers…
Are you insured?
Yes, $1,000,000.00 general liability and $1,000,000.00 work comp.
Binders available upon request.
Are your men legal and do they speak English?
We do our own repairs, we do not hire crews. My partner and I are two American men born and raised in the United States.
My roof has ugly black streaks on it, what can I do?
In a lot of cases, we can power wash the roof with a product that kills the black streaks. The black streaks are actually Algae.
I have three buildings, Tar and Gravel, Granulated Modified and a Metal roof. Do you have the ability to repair leaks on all three types?
Sure, different repair systems but with the same idea behind each system. We have developed a system that is second to no other. It comes to the customer as a 6 step, 4 part repair and we feel it is the best in the marketplace.
I have tried everything to stop my leak and you are not the first roofer to try to fix it. How do you know you can fix the leak when others have failed?
I know……..and I am asked this question more often than any other. Without giving away any secrets, There are only a few places a roof typically fails and I have seen these same places hundreds of times. We have a knack for finding roofing failures that are mystery for a lot of other people. Also, the choice in repair products makes a big difference.
The roof has been leaking for a long time, did the water damage anything else inside the roof?
Possibly, lets fix your leak first. Then I will help you investigate. I have seen completely rotted structures because of a leak down to a little wet insulation and a spot on the sheetrock. The difference of $3000.00 to $30.00. But again, let’s fix your leak before things get out of control. This puts a stop to the interior damage ASAP.
Can you work with my insurance and make them pay for some of the damage?
This is kind of a trick question. Yes, I will work with your insurance and No, I will not argue with them to pay for it. Contrary to what a lot of roofers will tell you, your insurance adjuster is the one who determines your loss and what will be paid for. These folks follow processes that help them make these determinations and in most cases are very fair. No roofer can twist their arm or force them to pay for a loss. We can present facts and certainly work with your adjuster but be real careful of anyone who tells you that they can get your job paid for by insurance. This whole idea is what gives roofers a bad stereotype with customers and insurance representatives.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take Visa, Mastercard, Check or otherwise guaranteed funds. (Drafts, Money Order Etc.)
Do I need to be present for you to work on the repair?
No, as much as we would love to meet you, we realize most folks are busy during the daylight hours and we can generally perform your repair in your absence.
I have dogs, should I put them inside.
No, we love dogs even the ones who bark at us. Let me know if your dog is protective and if so, we will go up the roof and over and not invade your dog's space. We have never had much trouble with that area.
