What are the health, physical, mental and social benefits of the Aussie Rules Schools program for children?
Children benefit through the Program in many ways:
- Children learn the fundamental physical skills for the future physical activity and sports participation.
- Children learn the basic of fitness conditioning, including how to train and practice.
- Children learn the basic principles and importance of health and nutrition.
- Through specially arranged physical activities and games, some very important mental and psychological skills are nurtured. These include self – motivation, self responsibility, self management, persistence, resilience and a “best effort always” attitude.
