Teacher's Inset

Teacher's Inset courses are conducted by Aussie Rules UK Development Staff. This two hour course (we can also do half days or full days) gives a basic knowledge of the game. These courses are easily conducted at a school. All participants receive a football and Certificate.

The outline of the course is as follows:

1. Introduction to Aussie Rules (Classroom) – 30 minutes

  • Basics, Rules, Skills
  • Video footage

2. Skills (Field) – 60 minutes

  • Handball
  • Marking
  • Kicking
  • Bouncing

3. Game (Field) – 30 minutes
We finish off with a fun and friendly non-contact game of Aussie Rules!
