Sweden 2007

England played their second international match against Sweden in Stockholm on Sunday 23 September, 2007.

Stockholm is built on 14 islands and is a beautiful city. Players and officials stayed on a red boat (cleverly disguised in a different colour), complete with magnificent views of the harbour, which was a sensational experience! As a bonus some extra walking tours were included, which were much appreciated by all.

England ran out convincing winners against Sweden and were very pleased to take home the inaugural Waterloo Cup. A big thank you to the Stockholm Australian Football Federation (SAFF) for all their hard work in making the day a great success.
